This stainless steel backed and silicone fronted set of jaws offer more grip while working on a fine polished surface. Perfect for jewellery making or work on a soft painted surface as the grippy silicone will deform further around the part being held. These are designed for when a hard clamping force is not as necessary with delicate jobs.

Can be easily swapped out from the originals, or mix and match to create a totally customised or specialised clamping action.

Grippy and gentle

Pretty much essential if you're working with some more delicate materials (such as plastics or resins), to prevent indentations while maintaining a tight grip. This keeps your material pristine and in place.

Soft and grippy!

The silicon pads are soft and grippy. Excellent assurance the clamp holds and does not damage the parts. These swap in and out easily and simply.

Silicon soft jaws

The replacement was easily done with the included supplies. The soft jaws work very well for hold finished parts that need a careful touch. Nice work!!

Better then the standard jaws IMO

I use these silicone-padded jaws way more often than the standard jaws because I don't want to scratch up the materials that I'm working on.

Can’t attach

The original jaws are in there so tight that the allen wrench that came with the vice broke making these soft jaws useless.

We're so sorry to hear that Jeremy! Thanks for reaching out to our customer service team too, so they could get that sorted for you. This was actually an issue identified early on, and we found that some of the screws on a small number of vises had been over-tightened, making them difficult to loosen. We put in additional checks to ensure the screws were not too tight and replaced the Allen keys so they were a better fit too. CheersTeam MetMo
