Release The Fractal!

If you value being able to quickly move from one workspace to another this Quick Release Clamp will do the job perfectly, letting you move between different setups without having to take what you're working on out of the vice. Have the freedom to switch between how you use the Fractal Vise with ease.

Pair It Up

With the quick release clamp you can detach the vice from the Desktop Workstation, Ball Mount, or adaptor plate and use it free standing in mere seconds, so you can get back to what you're working on with minimal faff.

Imagined By You

This little Vise extra was created using feedback and ideas from our backers on the Kickstarter campaign, and designing a solid quick release mechanism was a challenge that we gleefully rose to.

Having tried many different options, we're happy with this speedy little connector!

Pack Up And Go

With the Quick Release Clamp you're portable in seconds, and it lets you break down your set up, pack everything up, and move to your next workspace without having to take the vice apart. The nomadic metalsmiths of old would be proud!

Jack Up Your Bench Height

The Quick Release Clamp adds a little bit of height between the ground and the vice, bringing your workpiece closer to you and making it easier to work on your parts, or for getting tools in and around those difficult shapes.

Bolted Down

Attach the Quick Release Clamp to the Adaptor Plate and you can have a permanent mounted vice that you can also quickly remove and use free standing, or take it for a walk with you and show off your new engineering marvel to anyone that will listen.

Solid Construction

Made from the same aerospace grade aluminium as the vice, combined with stainless steel and brass, this is a rock-solid little addition designed to keep your work platform stable, so whatever you're working on stays where you put it.

It's A Hard Lock Clamp

The screw thread pushes two wedges into the underside of the vice, locking it in place with a trapezoidal thread designed to lock in and not move, so you can give what you're working on a real beating (if it deserved it) and your vice will be exactly where you left it.

Getting Down And Knurly

The lead screw can be done up using the comfortable knurled adjuster to make it quick and easy to undo, with the addition of fully tightening it up with a hex key if you wanted that little bit of extra security.

A Tiny Clamp In It’s Own Right

If you find yourself in a tight spot the Quick Release Clamp can even be used as a tiny vice! These little jaws will lock onto something small, and give you an extra platform to work from. You never know when you might need an extra pair of tiny grabbers!
