MetMo Driver

I am absolutely over the moon with this, it is a perfectly engineered tool, but also looks fabulous, and feels fabulous. I do have it on show alongside my precision metal spinning tops! I definitely will be having more Metmo.......

It was honestly surreal fits amazing in the hands ratchets nicely every time weather your putting your body weight into it to crack that bolt lose or twirling it with one hand while you’re looking for your next bit in your toolbox.

This thing is super powerful with its side lever. And compact for tight spaces.Pride of place in my toolbox.

The sleek design of this driver offers almost unlimited leverage that powers screws into treated lumber and steel products. I've used my hip as leverage to drive 5 inch screws into 4x6 lumber and the only thing stopping this driver is faulty bits that can't handle the torque. The ratchet teeth are extra large, providing a solid base to turn any screw or bolt into place. The compact size also allows the driver to be used in just about any application. This is truly a tool for life.

The MetMo driver is the first product I've purchased from MetMo.Probably the best thing, I got from kickstarter till now.It is really really well made. This screwdriver feels absolutely amazing, the rachet is so satisfying to use.Thank you, MetMo, for making such a great tool.

I was hoping to inherit a brace drill that was my grandfather's [or older], but alas it was somehow 'lost'. Then I spot the Metmo Driver and I couldn't believe my eyes. It's not necessarily going to replace a brace drill, but the Metmo can do a lot of what any brace drill can do. The torque both that you get from the tool and that you can put on it is amazing. Any hex bits ans you're good to go. I have a Makita power drill that I love, but in resecuring my outdoor water hose reel - the Metmo was the only thing that gave me the torque I needed to finish the job with the masonry screw tight. This thing can't let you down. I consider it a must-have. You must too. Oh, also it's absolutely gorgeous.

This is a fantastically functional and sturdy tool. As you can see, there are many places where you need two. I'm in a small 1 bedroom unit in the Silicon Valley area so I need tools that are compact and strong.The Metmo Drivers make a great compliment to my Metrinch sockets. I wish the Driver had come out years ago, it would have helped me on many projects.

This tool is a real joy to use. The ratchet mechanism is so satisfying and works to perfection. And the workmanship is perfect. Can't recommend this tool enough. It works perfect for getting into tight places a power drill can't reach.

I thought I made a mistake ordering this. Then it arrived, and I used it. I don't think I'll use any other screwdriver again.

This purchase leaves no regrets...We live in a modern age, but think about how many batteries and battery powered tools we've thrown away or sold for a pittance because it doesn't get the job done, and have you priced just one battery for your pricey tool lately?! Do that, and you'll quickly realize the longstanding value of this amazing resurrection and renovation of a classy and classic tool that has met cool! I'm a fan of "the good old days" when tools were manufactured with both pride and purpose, and were designed to last. I also serve in Africa where you have to be ready for anything, and MetMo has delivered in a big way, yet again, giving us a solid and amazing tool that doesn't need electricity, solar, or batteries...not anything but good old fashioned grit and determination, and will be driving screws, bolts and whatever else you want for many years to come, come what may...and is something your grandkids will be calling dibs on when it's time to leave more than just your legacy.Bought one for my took kit, one for my budding mechanic son, and came back for more on the mini version as well! This a purchase that leaves no regrets, and when you hold this well built, solid and gleaming piece of genius tool truly built to last beyond a lifetime in your hand... you'll agree. I have a good quality battery tools, but for driving still prefer manual ones - this one is great when it comes to bigger tasks - I cannot overstate how surprisingly ergonomic the driving with it is. It is on the big and heavy side though - so I am really looking forward to the mini version. I highly recommend this driver and MetMo as a company - best Kickstarter campaigns I have seen and a great, quality product delivered at the end of each one of it.

Part of my EDC and one of my go to tools. I must admit I have a soft spot for heritage quality tools and the MetMo doesn't disapoint! I purchased the mini version and look forward to what I'm sure will be another incredible product. You can tell all the TLC that went into designing this driver. If you have the opportunity to purchase one you won't be disapointed!

I have a MetMo Driver, a Grip and a Cube all on my desk at home. They sit there as Works of Art, to be looked at, shown to family and friends, and played with during times of contemplation. I have a second Driver and Grip in my workshop where they are my most used tools. Multi-functional, operating smoothly, with both strength and delicacy as necessary. And, whether on my desk or in my workshop, these creative, well designed and carefully manufactured devices are fun to hold, use and appreciate. Thank you, MetMo. I am now looking forward to adding a Pocket Driver, and gifting each of these wonderful devices to my two sons.

This driver is a great update on some classic engineering design and a very useful tool to boot.I have added this driver into my daily tool bag building and testing electron detectors and I can’t wait to add the pocket driver for the lighter work.I have the upgraded steel barrel but to be honest this was more out of wanting more steel than requirement, the aluminium barrel is more than strong enough to deal with what ever you can throw at it.I recommend the tool roll to keep it and some extenders and bits handy.

I was really excited from the get go of the Kickstarter campaign of a novel screwdriver, but wasn't expecting what I actually received. The craftsmanship and weight of the driver was impressive. I've since run around the house tightening every screw I could find that needed it and utilized it to it's potential to seat some lag screws with full control and ease. This is hands down my favorite tool in the house, and that comes from someone with multiple full tool chests.

Recently the wife instructed me to hang the Tv, and if you’ve done this yourself, you know the bracket has to be mounted on studs. My electric drill wouldn’t send the bolts in so I called on my Metmo Driver and slammed those things home. Absolutely beautiful tool and exactly what I needed to finish the job!

This is quite simply an amazing piece of engineering. Yes, it’s lovely to hold and to look at but, more importantly, it can get the job done. (And it makes “doing the job” a real pleasure!).It may seem expensive but I doubt anyone ever regrets buying one. The best, and coolest, tool I own: by far…

I know that this is a lot of money for a screwdriver, but it should last quite a few lifetimes. The materials that are used to produce this are top quality not like the cheap Chinese brands. I use this regularly in my job to fit curtain rails, blinds Etc. This can undo screws that have been painted over several times because you can use your body weight to push the screwdriver into the screw so it doesn’t slip. If I want to be picky, it’s not the lightest to use but you never feel that it can’t cope with anything that you throw at it. Recommended.Also recommended even more is team MetMo and the voice of the team Peg.

Great unique tool, well thoughtful design. I also bought the mini version.
