Mk4 Stainless Steel MetMo Cube

I received MK4 cube and it great. The quality of the machining, tolerances are incredible.

This thing is fantastic! It's amazing to watch the pins slowly sink into the cube and dissappear! Amazingly tight tolerance!

The cube came as a gift. However, on my first try, I saw that the pins did not drop at the same speed. In fact, after one pin was completely lowered, I had to push a little for the other pin to come out. Later, when I turned the cube upside down, the two pins did not go in at the same time. However, in the advertisement shown, the pins are entered at the same time. I continued to use it several times afterward. I had difficulty removing and reinserting the pins, but I did not apply any force to avoid damage. However, one of the pins was still scratched and had a small dent in the corner. Even though I placed the pins correctly, it still didn't go all the way into the cube. Each time, some of it was left out. When I wrote an e-mail to Metmo about this situation. They told me it looked like they handled the cube carefully, but if the cube was still damaged it wasn't our responsibility and if you wanted to fix it you'd have to pay for it. And this answer quite surprised me. It was an unprofessional answer that I never expected. I don't understand how the steel cube you are so proud of can lose its function in just a few tries. So how can this be my fault? There is no problem with one of the pins of the cube, it fits into place with perfect sharpness. but the other pin always stays out. When you encounter a problem, the answer you get will probably be the same as mine. A completely disappointing purchase.

I love this little cube as other people say the build is amazing, the way the pins disappear is very satisfying. The is a reassuringly amount of weight to something that fits in the palm you your hand. Positive feedback : User buying experience might need a tweak, I bought the cube last year knowing it will not come till April, this is fine I understand the build process, however it would be nice to know progress of other cubes, i.e. there's x cubes to be made before your batch, and each month i could see the que get smaller. Positive Feedback 2: the little plate on the bottom feels a little out of place compared to the rest of the cube, this could be an upgrade opportunity, at POS or separately, machined stainless with serial number, carbon fiber, rose gold etc.Positive Feedback 3: How about some sort of travel pouch or box, everybody at work wanted to see it, I can see mine doing the rounds.Overall highly satisfied, regards Geoff

I love precise machining. This cube is a perfect demo of what modern machining techniques are capable of. It is a small cube that is fun to play with just like a fidget spinner. I keep it on my desk at work and play with it while I wait for code to compile. Everyone that comes by also loves it. (:

This surpassed my expectations. Definitely my favorite desk accessory, and it seems to be the favorite of everyone else at my office. Amazing engineering. The cube is so smooth and seamless, if anything is perfect it's this.

I am hipnotized by the Metmo cube. Any expectations were more than fulfilled when I opened the box.

I'm a teacher and I teach physics. My Metmo cube is right at the front of my desk and I use it to show the students what I mean by 'precision'! It's brilliant!

Purchased April 14th - left the UK on the 16th - Arrived in Chicago on the 17th, I live 300 miles north of Chicago. Item has been on tour of the U.S. for the last 12 days. Phoenix, Dallas, Kansas City. You have full control of who you use for your shipper - totally unacceptable. Think I would order anything from you guys again??

I love this. It is utterly absorbing and like nothing else. To watch the graceful inevitable transition of the parts is like watching time treacling in front of you.

The MetMo cube has arrived and functions as described. The cube is to be a 21st birthday present later this month for a grandson that will shortly commence his Masters in Aerospace Engineering at Melbourne University. With a long held desire to travel to Mars maybe this cube will be the most well travelled!

Excellent quality.

I feel it doesn't function as advertised. I can maybe push the two cut outs in and out 3-5 times before the air pressure is gone and they slide and into place.

This thing is an amazing work of craftsmanship.
