FAQ's and Support

We aim to process orders within 1 working day, but in busy periods this can take up to 3 working days. 

Orders placed on a 'pre-order' basis will have a different fulfilment process, and can vary from product to product. All information regarding pre-orders will be directly on the product page. 

This fulfilment timeline does not apply to our crowdfunding campaigns, which will have their own fulfilment schedule as detailed on the main campaign page. 

Once your order is placed we aim to process it within 1 working day. Because of this, we can't guarantee a cancellation or amendment of an order once it's been placed, though you can send our customer support on hello@metmocube.com. You may be required to pay shipping and handling fees for orders that have been collected by the courier.

We recommend you carefully check your order details are correct before placing the order. 

If you placed a pre-order, we can cancel your order up to 7 days before fulfilment is due to begin. 

If you backed a crowdfunding campaign, we can cancel your order up to 30 days before fulfilment is due to begin. 

Estimated shipping times can vary, but generally FedEx and UPS shipping times are as follows:

UK - Next working day

USA - 1-3 working days

EU - 3-5 working days

Rest of the world - 7 working days 

Royal Mail shipping times are as follows:

UK - 1-2 working days

USA - 5-7 working days

EU - 3-7 working days

Rest of the world - 7+ working days 

Shipping times are estimations only provided by the courier and cannot be guaranteed. 

To open a return, please go to your customer account or click here to view your past orders. You can only submit a return request on orders which have been fulfilled or partially fulfilled.

1. Click "Request return" for the order that you want to submit the return for.
2. If your order has more than one item, then select the items that you want to return.
3. Select a return reason and add a note for the store.
4. Click "Request return".

Our customer service team will review this and get back to you within 1-2 working days. 

Eligibility

You must be within 30 days of receiving your order to be eligible for a return. 

Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it for a full refund to be processed. This means that the product should be unopened, clean, and undamaged in order to receive a refund upon receipt back to us. 

Where the buyer has changed their mind about their purchase and wishes to return the item for reasons outside of faults or retailer error, the buyer pays return postage.

All returns require a proof of purchase.

The MetMo Cube is machined from solid stainless steel using advanced wire EDM (electrical discharge machining).

Electrical Discharge Machining is a method of shaping metal to extreme tolerances and uses an extremely thin wire to cut through solid metals. EDM allows us to make very, very precise shapes, structures and parts to perform very specific tasks where extreme tolerances are required. The interaction of the parts in our Cube cannot be replicated using laser cutting, casting or CNC machining. 

MetMo Cube gives you access and ownership to a very special form of engineering technology, usually reserved for high-budget engineering programs and cutting-edge research. 

The Piston is a satisfying fidget and a work of engineering joy. It allows you to experiment with an aerodynamic bearing which provides a smooth motion and tactile feedback. Basically, it's loads of fun to play with! 

The Piston is machined to a fine tolerance which means there's no friction between the pin and the cylinder which can be used for all kinds of fiddling, from spinning to bouncing to launching!

The Piston is intentionally designed to leak air as the Piston pin slowly drops; it's not a perfect seal, and this is what allows the air bearing effect to work. The drop times can vary from Piston to Piston.  

MetMo tools and fidgets are made up of non-ferrous materials, as well as stainless and treated steels that stave off rust. The brass parts of your MetMo will patina over time, which is completely natural.

We advise keeping your MetMo away from water and sources of moisture for best operation.
