Introducing The MetMo Multi Drive Expansion Kit

Mighty and mobile, this thing can pack in an entire Multi Drive workshop without breaking a sweat. Everything Multi Drive you could possibly need, stored in one handy (and beautiful) tool case

The Numbers

What can you fit inside the beast?

4mm bits: 36

Drill bits: 10

Files: 7

Blade Mount (with blade attached): 1

4mm Adaptor: 1

Blades: 20+

Scribes: 3

Leads: 5

Multi Drive handles: 2

Stubster handles: 1

Metal case: 1

This bad boy also has three universal pockets, one of which doubles as a mount for the Metal Case. If the Metal Case is installed, then you still have two pockets to treat as your personal TARDIS for any extra bits or notes you might have! If used with the Metal Case, the total bit storage is increased to 60 bits.

Each area has been tailor made for the tools of Multi Drive and the universal pockets are perfect for storing extras like the smaller Leather Case, with plenty of room for your own additions too.

Magnetic Case Connection Point

Harnessing the power of magnets, the Metal Case can still be used for its quick release nature by way of a steel insert within the leather. So there's no ferreting around in a pocket to get access to your most used bits.

No Case? No Problem!

If you don’t have the Metal Case, this pocket can also be used to house a notepad or hold pens, pencils and tweezers.

Drill Bit Storage

This highly requested compartment allows the drill bits to be stored in their original box (the safest place for them) while allowing easy access to quickly pop them out and start putting holes in things.

Blade Zone

A specially designed pocket to hold the blade attachment without cutting its way through the case, with a handy pocket directly behind it for storing an assortment of blade packets.

The Coveted File Storage

A fully enclosed needle file area *gasp* to keep up to 7 needle files in top condition and prevent them from filing everything else in the case. Always keep your abrasives stationary while not in use, as the old saying goes.

Lead Launch Tubes

Carrying over our innovation from the original Leather Case, you can safely store five 3mm leads in the brass tubes, keeping them safe and preventing breakages of that fragile lead while on the move.

Driver Pockets

Fit two additional Multi Drives in individual pockets, with space to keep them loaded up with bits so you can leave them set and ready to get straight back into what you're working on. With added space for the Stubster too!

Bits, Glorious Bits

There is ample storage for a full range of 4mm bits, so you can store all of your favourites and have them on hand with no compromises.

Deep Pockets

Large voids for small cutting matts, notepads, a tiny hammer perhaps? Or whatever else you want to keep safely together.

Top Brass

All put together with indestructible brass fittings, these tried and tested fittings have been used since Roman times. The simplicity and lack of moving parts make them the most rugged and simple fixing, proven to us time and time again to keep working indefinitely, unlike studs or buttons.

Folds Away for Easy Storage

Fold away to tuck into your desk or a bag, the Expansion Kit when fully kitted out is only 25mm thick, making it portable and convenient to store away.

Introducing The Adaptor Set

But wait, that’s not all! As if all that wasn't enough, the kit also comes with three unique utility bits that we've designed from scratch.

These are supplied with every Expansion Kit to give you a little extra utility, and are also available separately as a stand alone product.

The Extender

Need some extra reach into a narrow space that the Multi Drive just can't quite get into? It happens too often, so we've made this first of its kind ultra slimline 100mm drive bit extender to boldly go where no bit has been before.

The Reacher

We were fed up of using those plastic covered wire drive shafts, where you have to have fingers of steel to hold it in place while working on an M2 screw... Many a screw has been catapulted into oblivion with one of those. So, we've created a magnetic bit holder built into a stainless steel universal joint which is perfect for reaching in, around, and getting to screws previously untouchable.

Rigid Shafts

The universal joint is a 'kinematic pair that articulates three rigid links by means of revolute joints...' well that's what my engineering textbook says. In (somewhat) simpler terms, the joint allows relative rotation in two axis and this enables two rigid shafts to rotate at 40° to each other, allowing you to get deep into your PC and dismantle it from the inside out.

The Chuck Adaptor

This attachment lets you use Multi Drive with any drill bit and is supplied with a standard micro twist chuck (the black component). It can clamp a drill bit of any size up to 3.5mm, so if you have your own existing set of pin drills or want to source your own drill bits then you totally can, knowing you can get any specialist size you need, turning Multi Drive into a highly versatile pin drill.

Chucks Away

The chucks are also standardised by Dremel, so if this wears out or vanishes you can easily replace it with off the shelf parts.
