A new kind of box opener inspired by Japanese chisels, Edge is a handy keyring multi tool that can cut, scrape, pry, mark and chisel. Built to be robust and fast to use with no fiddling around, just pure package busting fun.
Cut Through Everything
The hardened steel edge is designed to cut through whatever you put it to. Shaped and heat treated for maximum rigidity so it won’t damage the cutting nib, giving you years of unadulterated cutting pleasure.
Why Edge?
We were fiddling around with making some scissors, when we made the logical move of being inspired by Japanese woodworking chisels. We figured everything is basically a chisel, right?

A Slice of History
Invented in 1870, perfected in 2025.
Inspired by the Japanese chisels (Oiire Nomi) with mentori profiles which were created by sword makers following the demise of the samurai order, and were given very unique cutting profiles so that carpenters and joiners could create intricate joints.
We have taken the iconic shape of this well sculpted tool, miniaturised it, and turned it into a powerfully robust multi-purpose box cutting warrior.

Two edges for the price of one! Our unique 90 degree double edge lets you cut in, along, around, or even head on! It also lets you scrape or slice in a much easier way than most blades, so you can tackle any job with ease.

These aren't any old rings, these are MetMo’s finest stainless steel flat pressed rings that let you rule over all other inferior rings. These are designed to last a lifetime and will withstand the most turbulent of pockets. They don’t bend and won’t pull apart, keeping your Edge safe on your keys for when you need it.
What’s That Edge Made Of?
The leading edge is made from 420 grade stainless steel, hardened to HRC 48-55. It has a unique 120 degree inclusive cutting angle to make it more robust than a regular box cutter, so it will keep it’s edge for longer without needing to sharpen it.

A neodymium magnet keeps your blade stowed away and provides satisfying sliding. A clean, reliable mechanism that works every time. Magnets eh, a force as old as time.
