MetMo Titanium Precision Grip

Sorting through screws and just want the speed and precision of tweezers? We've got you covered. Set the jaws open slightly and a spring loaded mechanism gives you a smooth and satisfying tiny pinch, perfect for quickly sorting your tiny bits so you can stay focused on what you're doing.

Every millimetre of the Precision Grip has been considered and every surface, edge or spare nubbin has been utilised. You're not just carrying tweezers, this is a utilitarian gripping tool that locks on and doesn't let go.

Every part is precision machined from premium metals and totally over engineered, just like the tools of old. Inspired by Victorian engineering, we asked why can’t we make things that still work in 200 years time? So that’s what we do, and that’s how we design. Then we hold ourselves to it by giving you that same 200 year guarantee, so it can be passed down to future generations of young tinkerers.

We've adapted a drive screw normally used in high precision machining equipment and miniaturised it. We've harnessed that combination of precision and speed and channelled it into pure clamping power, so you can hold what you're working on without it slipping; perfect for your mission critical detail work.

A special patent pending process applies a micro grip surface texture to the very tips of the nibs. It feels like shaking hands with a gecko, but in miniature! Those small, smooth parts just get that extra bit of grip while you're working on them, stopping your bits from slipping or firing across your room.

The body houses a lot of features, but doesn’t comprise on comfort. Precision Grip is designed to be held and used for long periods of time, so you can focus on what you're doing and lose yourself in your work without ending up with the dreaded claw. Shaped to sit in your palm like a mechanical hand upgrade, you won't even know the meaning of repetitive strain injury.

We were sick and tired of alligator grips denting and damaging parts, and let’s face it - they were never designed for gripping your delicates in the first place. The Precision Grips have micro textured smooth tips that grip without damage, combined with an adjuster you can dial in to exactly the right amount of pressure you need, keeping your work destruction free. These are the first specially designed grips for fine work that aren't just surgical or electrical tools that have been repurposed and bodged to do fine work.

No more tweezer troubles when trying to reposition your work. Ever had that moment when you've just picked something up, you move your hand around, and… yep, it's lost. That momentary loss of pressure just allowed it to slip away. Never again with the Precision Grip, as it will hold its grip for an eternity.

Get a fine grip on any exposed nubbin, so you can find new ways to work. More points to hold things means more freedom and less frustration, so you can enjoy more of what you're doing.

The grooviest grip around! The set of three v-grooves in the centre of the Precision Grip are for forming and holding wire, so the grip can be converted into a makeshift stand for your parts while you work on them. That right there is multi-purpose comfort.

Form your assorted lengths of wire from your wire drawer! Using the rigid v-grooves, get those tricky bits of wire into shape to support your project, all from one tool.

The closest thing to a mechanical finger we can get. Replaceable silicone inserts let you very softly pinch something and hold it steady, perfect for when it’s less about power and more about finesse.

With each metal variant, you can switch out the business end so you can adapt to what you're working on. Or, if you've just managed to weld your nibs together somehow, they can be easily swapped out for new ones without the need to buy a whole new tool.

Swap your standard ends for the reverse jaws and nip on the cavities of your parts. With the same specially designed grippy structure to hold those unholdable small parts in a whole new way while you work on them.

Precision Grip is easy to adjust and re-position on the internal and previously ungrippable surfaces, giving you more control so you can paint every surface and access every detail.

The pointy needle nose jaws are designed to be robust, but also nimble enough so that you can get into small spaces and pick up those tiny parts that have found an excellent hiding space.

When you're working on small parts, sometimes you just want the ease of holding something a bit bigger. The Precision Grip takes away the fiddly frustration of working on small parts, so you can just enjoy the making.

Leave your work and return to it later on and know it will be exactly where you left it. No more fiddling around to get things set up again every time you want a sip of tea.

No need to turn your hand into a seized pincher! Let mechanics do the work for you and relegate the aches and pains to yesteryear.

Never before have you been able to dial in the amount of pressure you're putting on a fine point with this much precision and hold things so they don’t slip without a spring-loaded tension that launches your parts across the room. Just a calm, constant clamping force of your choosing.

Its vice-like grip lets you use it as… well… a vice! Set it up on its side, or clamp it in our quick release mount and you have yourself a precision vice that can act as your tiny third hand while you solder, file, paint or fettle whatever you're working on. Its strong hold gives you the freedom to work exactly how you like.

You might have a third hand already, but this is more like a third pinch. When you just need an extra finger and thumb combo to hold your part and then use both hands to do the delicate stuff, so you can focus on what you're doing.

The whole design hinges on a solid barrel. This unique design prevents sideways movement while you clamp, keeping the needle nose perfectly aligned for pin point accuracy and stopping any twisting like you'd get in conventional tweezer clamps. Grip in confidence.

Got a couple of parts you need to hold while you're soldering? No problem, these grips can act exactly like soldering tweezers and nip things in place while you solder them up, without damaging the ends. We might have bashed soldering grips a fair bit, but I think it’s justified...

Two lightweight designs in aluminium and titanium give you a nimble tool you won’t want to put down, so you won’t pick up any extra strain from using this all day.

Taking inspirations from fine writing instruments we've balanced these grips to feel like a natural extension of your hand, letting you get directly onto what you're working on and making them a joy to use.

Use in your left or the right hand, so you don’t have to sacrifice any functionality or miss out on any features. It just works however you work.

Working in a weird and wonderful world where organic shapes have taken over and no tool in the known universe could possibly hope to grip what you are working on? Yeah, we've been there… but fear not weary tinkerer! You can attach your own customised 3D printed nippers, so nothing will escape your clutches again!

The Titanium option exists purely because we can. That perfect blend of light weight, strong, and a dimension of unobtanium. The peak of engineering excellence. No one makes titanium tools like we do, blending the best metals to get the best results, like a McLaren P1 exhaust manifold. Even the jaws are titanium in this guy.

Like everything here at MetMo, you can strip down the Precision Grip to get to each component and screw for easy maintenance and repair, letting you keep your grip in top working condition for lifetimes to come. This is a tool you only need to buy once.
