A Case for Your Bits

It's time to embrace the pocket tool kit life and upgrade your every day carry with a Pocket Driver and our Magnetic Bit Case.

A Hexad of Hexes

Store 6 x 25mm bits in an enclosed case, utilising the same handle design as Pocket Driver to lock your bits safely in place. A powerful rear magnet lets you easily slide your bits out of the case when needed.

Manual Bit Ejector

The handle lets it sit nicely in your hand and eject bits with your thumb. This doesn't sound like much, but it is deeply satisfying and makes switching between drive bits easy to just slide them out, or it's just as easy to press and pop one out if you are in the mood for some precession bit handling.

The Power of Magnets

Once your bits are fully loaded into the bit case they're not coming out again without your say so!

Where this feature really comes into its own is when you drop a screw down the back of a cabinet or when you unscrew your motorcycle battery terminals and drop the tiny square nut into the abyss that is the inside of a motorbike... happened way too many times. You can pop the case inside hard to reach places to scoop up any loose hardware.

Quick Clean Up

Pick up bits and clean up, fast! Screws laying around or bits covering your workspace? Use the magnet to pick them up and get your space organised in seconds… The power of magnets ey?

Longer drive bits magnetically attached to the bit case.

Store Extra Bits, Long Bits, and Extra Long Bits

The back of the bit case is an ideal place to attach longer bits, or just those random loose bits that you collected that don’t have a home anymore. When you pick up your bits you can pick up ALL your bits… just make sure you want whatever you attached to them to be magnetic. After a while we have found that our prototype dramatically improved the magnetic power of the bits stored in there.

Maybe they turned to the dark side, who knows?

Attach It to What You're Working On

Bits are never where you need them, especially when they're small! The magnet that holds the bits in doubles up as a way to attach the bit case to whatever you're working on, so your bits are right there when you need them.

Snuggle Up

As an added bonus, it will stick to the Pocket Driver so they're easy to keep together! The natural extension to your Pocket Driver collection.

A Handy Handle

Pop it and hang it.

If you want the bit case to just hang around, it has the same carabiner loop point so you can attach it to your quick access tool or just have it easy to access in your pocket tool bag or everyday carry.

No Magnet? No Problem!

The bit case has the same spring plunger holding the handle in place, so has that same satisfying click and fiddle-ability as the Pocket Driver! That handle is also useful if what you're working on happens not to be ferritic. If you are working on an oak sailing ship maybe?

Manual Drive

In a bind it might be all you need, as the bit case can even be a makeshift bit driver! I know you wouldn’t want to use it for long like this, but if you just want to quickly tighten that loose screw in a pair of glasses or break into the TV remote, it's perfect!

We incorporated a small ramp at the ejection points to give each drive bit an end stop, which helps you put a good amount of pressure on the bit without it shooting out of the case!

A great way to store several frequently used bits. The magnetic bit holds the bits well, and are easy too remove.

The Overall System

I purchased the Metmo tool, magnetic bit case and leather pouch. I like the tool. The bit case is not very practical. It holds the 3 bits that came with the tool but not the 4 other bits that are also part of the system, I assume. My biggest issue is with the leather pouch. Neither the tool nor the bit case fit very well in the two large slots. The main issue with the leather case is the “fasteners”. There should have been a secure snap not simply a hole for the post to go through. The overall idea of the system is good. As a EDC piece it still needs some refinements. Good luck to you!!

it’s more of a toy than anything else … I realised this before I bought it but that’s what it is … just about does the job

A Case for Your Bits—Literally

The MetMo Magnetic Bit Case is a compact, clever, and beautifully engineered solution for anyone tired of losing bits or fumbling through cluttered drawers. Designed to hold six 25mm ¼" hex drive bits, this case is crafted from black anodized airframe aluminum with brass fittings and a powerful neodymium magnet that does more than just hold things in place. What makes it stand out is its dual functionality: it’s both a secure storage case and a magnetic retrieval tool. Drop a screw behind a cabinet or into your motorcycle’s abyss? This case can fish it out. Need to clean up scattered bits? Just sweep the case over your workspace and let the magnet do the work. The manual bit ejector is a tactile delight—press with your thumb and the bit pops out with satisfying precision. It’s quick, intuitive, and makes switching bits feel like a fidget-worthy ritual. The rear magnet also lets you attach the case to your workspace or even to your MetMo Pocket Driver, keeping everything within reach. And if you’ve got longer or odd-sized bits, the back of the case is perfect for sticking them on too.In short, it’s not just a case—it’s a tool in its own right. Smart, sturdy, and surprisingly fun to use.

Needs a bit holder

My experience was good but this tool needs to have the circular hole at the end turned into a hole that will accept the base of the bits so it can be used as a added driver. If they did this they would sell a ton of these. Please turn that round hole into the shape of a bit base so this tool can have true function.

What a delight to deal with this company. Very helpful and the items arrived quickly. The quality and workmanship is superb and the designs simply excellent. The magnetic bit case is very quirky but absolutely functional -a neat and novel way of stowing bits for my driver.

Well made small bit holder that will take any standard type bits to a maximum of six bits, good magnet's on the back and at the bottom of the bit slots
