Fiddle your way to a new understanding of physics with this mesmerising magnetism.
MetMo Eddy harnesses the power of Lenz’s Law, using powerful magnets and pure copper to generate opposing magnetic fields, AKA eddy currents, which creates a super satisfying slow-mo effect as the magnet passes through the copper.

Electromagnetism In The Palm of Your Hand
In 1855 Léon Foucault came along and demonstrated the effects of electromagnetism using a copper disc rotating between the poles of a magnet. The induced currents resisted the disc’s movement and caused it to heat up. These circulating currents became known as Foucault currents, or eddy currents, because their looping paths resemble eddies swirling through water.
Then, in 2026, the brains behind MetMo came together and asked how we could turn these laws of electromagnetism into something cool and desk-sized, and thus MetMo Eddy was born.
29 + 60 = Electromagnetism
29 + 60 = Electromagnetism, as the old saying goes. We're talking elements here people! Harness this blend of base periodic metals in the palm of your hand and watch them interact while you fascinate passers-by.
