The Metal Case

For the precision builders. The MetMo Metal Case is the ultimate accessory, designed to be a mobile workstation. The fully machined aluminium case comes equipped with 24 micro bits, a built in pencil sharpener, a lid that doubles as a part organising tray, space for a Multi Drive, Scribe, 4mm Adaptor and Blade Mount. Perfect for keeping everything organised and protected around the workshop.

Pick Your Bits

Fully magnetic, it keeps everything organised and makes picking out the bits you need much easier than the standard plastic cases that exist. It will attach itself to any metal surface, so if space is a premium it can even attach to your workshop walls.

Mobile Case

Designed to be no bigger than a modern phone, the Metal Case is at home in the workshop or on the move.

Pencil Sharpening

Yep, you read that right! Hidden in the top edge is a small hole with a machined offset that lets you put a finer point on your 3mm lead pencils, so you can stay sharp while the boss is about. Case in point.

More Than Just a Lid

Milled out of aerospace grade plate aluminium with precision machined shallow compartments to keep tiny things organised when not in use as a lid, it's perfect for keeping track of your dismantled doodads.

Its magnetic clasp means it can also tuck under the case to keep things tidy.

The Magnetic Core

With six neodymium rare earth magnets set inside the case it hasn’t quite got the power of the earth’s core, but it will mess with a compass so that's something. They're positioned so that they apply a unique pull on bits placed in the case, giving the convenience of just pressing the bit you want and having it stand to attention, ready for use. Save having a fight with a tightly packed tray of bits… I’m sure we've all been there.

Quick Access Holes

Like a Space X Launch pad this line up of four holes lets you neatly stack implements. Easy to grab and always ready for action while you're working, so you have what you need without having to fiddle around.

A Hard Knock Case

Behind the bits this case's construction is made from fifteen parts carefully assembled and hard anodised to match the Multi Drive. This one is a real hard case.

Popping Up Motion

Let’s just take a moment to look at that sweet sweet motion…. Figuring this out means we can have a thinner, less obtrusive design, and also lets you pop out the Multi Drive without removing the lid, ideal for taking a quick note.

The Infinite Notepad

The anodised aluminium combined with the graphite lead create the perfect duo to be used as an infinite notepad. Jot notes on the aluminium, then when your dreams have been made a reality easily wipe them off. Rinse and repeat!

It Really Sticks Around

The magnets in the case mean it can attach vertically, so you can keep your workspace totally clear! Also perfect if you're working in a tight environment, upside down, or in space. It’s like owning a micro shadow board!

Materials

We've stuck with the same metals used for Multi Drive. Perhaps overkill to use metal that was designed to take an aircraft landing, but better safe than sorry when your bits are at stake.

Best part of the Multi Drive kit

This thing is absolutely stellar - the only negative thing I could possibly say about it is that one of the bits I store in the bottom-left corner likes to cling to the lid when I open it up. For some people this would probably be enough to warrant knocking it down a star, but I consider it a more than fair trade for having a design I can flip upside down without issue, but also presents little enough resistance that there's no fumbling or momentary pause as you realize you need more pressure to get one of the bits out. Magnets are great, and magnets with a perfectly-chosen strength for their job are sublime.

The Perfect Companion to the Multi Drive

The MetMo Multi Drive Metal Case is more than just a storage solution—it's a beautifully engineered mobile workstation. As someone who appreciates precision and thoughtful design, I was genuinely impressed by how much functionality is packed into such a compact form.Crafted from aerospace-grade aluminum, the case feels incredibly solid and premium. The magnetic core is a game-changer—it securely holds the 24 micro bits in place while making them easy to access. No more fumbling with plastic trays or losing bits in a drawer. The built-in pencil sharpener is a clever touch, and the lid doubling as a parts tray is both practical and elegant. I also love the quick-access holes that let me keep my most-used tools ready to go. It’s clear that every detail was designed with makers and tinkerers in mind.Whether you're in the workshop or on the move, this case keeps your tools organized, protected, and ready for action. It’s the perfect companion to the MetMo Multi Drive—and honestly, it makes the whole experience feel even more complete.Highly recommended for anyone who values craftsmanship and efficiency.

Versatile and Functional

This case was a great addition to my Multi Drive kit. The magnetic design to attach it to my metal pegboard in my shop or the inside of the leather case was the initial selling point, but I’ve loved the bit holder design that makes them pop up. I’ve also enjoyed writing on the cover with graphite. It works well for grabbing bits on the go and optionally storing a Multi Drive, knife, and other accessories if I don’t want to grab the entire leather case.

Handy and stylish storage

I love this case, it has heft and is handy to boot. I keep the whole set in the leather expansion kit and I love how this part attaches magnetically. Every aspect is well through out. I have been able to fit in all the mini-bits and when a precision screwdriver is called for, I can grab the metal case and am good to go. There have been occasions when I've need to two precision screwdrivers, then it's handy to have the Stubster to hand.

Awesome Case!

Love the magnets! Anything with magnets is so cool! Handy case to carry & stick onto something metal. Quality — if this is what you expect that’s what you get!

Good quality stuff

I like the attention to detail and que quality of materials. I got the multi-drive with the metal case. Two little things I didn't anticipate are the not-so-great grip of the multi-drive (that's why there is a rubber tube, I guess), and also that the case lid is not super-tight, and it does not match the rest of the package in terms of "perfection". But I expect my kids to inherit it nonetheless.

It's good BUT

It can use a touch stronger of magnets for the front panel. I find that it too easily slides around.

Must have

If getting the multi drive, then this is a must have. Really love the built in pencil sharpener! Gets a nice point Everytime. And being able to write on the case and it just wipes off. This case just feels epic in your hand.
